With over 20 years’ experience in acoustics covering a wide range of projects, his expertise has predominantly been applied on numerous school developments, residential conversions and industrial projects.
Matthew Hunter

Consultant
Matt joined Hunter Acoustics in 2017 upon completion of A-Levels in Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
He successfully completed the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) Certificate of Competence in Workplace Noise Risk Assessment in 2019 followed by the Diploma in Acoustics & Noise Control in 2020. He became an corporate member of the IOA in 2024 (MIOA) and is a registered tester with the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC).
Matt has experience in noise assessments and modelling for residential developments, schools and industrial schemes. He is furthering his knowledge in building acoustics and room acoustics modelling.
Hannah Moody

Hannah undertook a year in industry placement with Hunter Acoustics from the summer of 2023-2024 during her acoustic studies at the University of Southampton. Upon gaining her degree, Hannah took up a permanent position with the business at the end of the summer in 2025. Since re-joining the team, Hannah has become a registered tester with the ANC and gained Associate member status with the Institute of Acoustics (AMIOA).
Fred Badham
BSc(Hons)
Technician
Fred holds a BSc(Hons) degree in Sound Engineering from the University of South Wales where he graduated in 2019. Since then, he has built a career as a freelance audio engineer working on various TV and film productions for the BBC, ITVX, Netflix, Sky and Disney as well as in theaters including the Wales Millennium Centre and St David's Hall.
Following a period of work experience at Hunter Acoustics at the start of 2026, Fred made the decision to transfer his skillset to embark on a career in acoustic consultancy and take up a Technician role with the company.
Jayne Griffiths
Bookkeeper, Payroll
Jayne is highly experienced with Sage 50 accounts and works closely with the company directors and our accountants to keep the business running smoothly.
Jayne enjoys spending weekends away and holidaying with her family.
