Sound Insulation Testing

Party wall and floor sound insulation performance requirements in the latest Building Regulations Approved Document Part E (ADE 2003) has concentrated the minds of developers, contractors and architects with respect to residential acoustics issues.

ADE 2003 applies to both dwellings houses/flats and rooms for residential purposes (hotels, hostels, student halls of residence, nursing homes etc.) for both new builds and those formed by a material change of use.

We are members of the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC) and are on their registration scheme for pre-completion testing. We are therefore recognised as ‘suitably qualified’ by Building Regulations ADE2003 and Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH).
